Women's Issues: A Commentary, held in May 2003
Women's Issues: A Commentary marked a departure from previous shows at the
Avenue Art Gallery . Women's Issues focused on the artist
and what she feels as she expresses herself through her art. This show brought together
19 female artists from as far away as Ohio and Florida who have found the creation of art
to be a most satisfying and important way to express their perceptions about life.
The show presented works from painters, sculptors, artists of mixed media, and other
art forms. The exhibit had "a little something" for everyone who attended.
