Broome Community College FACULTY ART EXHIBITION

Held in February 2003

The Press & Sun Bulletin wrote on Thursday, February 13,2003: "BCC faculty offers (a) diverse collection. Brunelli unveiling (was) only one highlight of the exhibit's opening. The Broome Community College Faculty Art Exhibition, ... opened with a rare treat: the unveiling of Trinity Church, a pre-Sept 11 view of Lower Manhattan by photorealist painter Anthony Brunelli. ... The impact will be making its way to Italy as Trinity Church and other Brunelli works are installed in an April exhibit in Rome. ...

"But there's a lot more than Brunelli's work at the exhibit. You (could) find everything from the haunting, such as Nancy Ryan's Self-Portrait , to the tranquil, such as Anne Boyer Coten's diminutive Aurora Borealis . The works cover(ed) a wide variety of genres as well, from Mark Williamson's colorful non-representational abstracts, to Wayne Claypatch's pop art-ish Defenders of the Earth Shirtless: or The Man With The 200+ IQ Teams Up With Astro Boy . Check it out if you can handle it."
